1981 grad Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 As soon as Freeman went to the bench the Huskies got an offensive rebound. He was not on the bench long. Hunter had a wide open three, did not even look to shoot. It seems like Hankerson might be the only one who has a green light to shoot the three ball. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted January 4, 2023 Author Report Posted January 4, 2023 This is some damn ugly basketball. Quote
NWAkron Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 So much for a relaxing evening. Something has got to give eventually. Quote

Let'sGoZips94 Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 The under 134.5 and NIU +15.5 is looking beautiful. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 A couple nice sequences from Kobe! Quote

1981 grad Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 That is what happens when you do not have the field general on the court. After we got the offensive rebound we should have held the ball for the last shot. Just stupid basketball. Was a 5 point turnaround. Groce will not be happy. Quote
LoyalZIP Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 Who’s Groce gonna kill for that one? 1 Quote
zipsrule Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 Great start to the second half. Good ball movement and we're making shots! 1 Quote
1981 grad Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 Johnson and Johnson to the rescue!! Quote
Guest Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 Awesome response to start second half, Nate and Tavari really looking confident which has me excited for them going forward Quote
NWAkron Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 NIU capitalizes when Zips make bad choices. Quote
Blue & Gold Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 Making shots this half & walla, offense has good flow. Looking good! Quote
NWAkron Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 NIU throwing up some panic shots but Tavari...he needs to chill 1 Quote
LZIp Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 Props where its due..nice game for Tribble. 1 Quote
Z.I.P. Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 Hankerson 3 points on 1 for 6 shooting. So much for showing off to your old team... 😧 Quote
1981 grad Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 I find it hard to believe that they are not doubling Freeman. The game plan against the Zips is to double or triple Freeman and let somebody else beat you. Not that I am complaining. Quote
kreed5120 Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 NIU coach should be fired for not sending hard double teams at Enrique, especially with X out. On another note I love to see other guys step up. Perhaps a game without X was what the Zips needed for some of these guys to step up and have confidence to create themselves some offense. 2 Quote
Blue & Gold Posted January 4, 2023 Report Posted January 4, 2023 Tribble’s best game of the year. By a wide margin. Quote
