UMass is beating them up. They may not beat them, but I like the style of this game so far.

Suder is going to feel that fall tomorrow.

UMass has 5 fouls to Miami OH's 3 and the Sweaters can't believe the whistle isn't going their way more lol.

In the first half the refs are letting them play.  Physical play with few whistles and that benefits Mass.  HOwever, would not be surprised if the whistles come fast and furious in the second half to benfit Miami.

John Floyd is reffing.  He called the foul on Julius Rollins.  He doesn't mess around.

Every time I watch this team, I come away stunned that they are undefeated. Steele is almost always whining to the referees. His players follow suit. They don't seem mentally tough at all.

They just called a foul on Byers at the buzzer.

HIDE THE SPEAKERS! STEELE IS GONNA LOSE IT!

Well not when UMass does something stupid, throws the ball away and allows Miami to get a quick inbounds and score. What an f up.

Wasn't that the same scenario when Big Dog made a three pointer to win the game several years ago?  The Mass Coach is yelling at his player.  If I am the coach I tell him to throw the ball into the nearest player and screw the shot.  Bad coaching.

It was a bizarre sequence of events to follow on the ESPN gamecast on my phone, so thanks for clarifying what happened. Certainly not a good way to end the half.

In their last game against Ohio, there was a play with about 15 minutes left in the second half in which the Toledo defender saved the ball from going out of bounds on a defensive rebound and threw it right to a Miami player standing alone under the basket and laid it up. In that moment, I thought, watch that be the difference in the game, and because it went to OT, it was. That's the kind of season Miami is having.

Watch the screw up before half time by UMass be the difference in the game.
