clarkwgriswold Posted yesterday at 01:57 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:57 AM (edited) The 2025-26 season comes to a close Friday night as Northern Illinois comes into the JAR for senior night for a 6:00 contest. Make sure to get there to honor this outstanding group of seniors who have given us so many great Zips memories. The Huskies are 9-19 going into its game against Brimfield tonight. Zips1991 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Let's get the excitement building for this very (not at all) meaningful game! In all seriousness though, looking forward to the senior day ceremony as we have a great class playing their last game at the JAR. 3 Quote

The seniors are going to be overshadowed by the celebration of this being our last ever conference game vs. NIU! 2 Quote

Banish them all to the Horizon League. For me it's because basketball is clearly the distant 3rd sport behind both football and hockey. WMU I don't see investing in both basketball and hockey given the overlapping seasons. CMU and EMU basketball is still the #2 sport. They just aren't good. CMU might be on the up as their new coach is at least showing progress. I won't dispute banishing all 3. Quote
Captain Kangaroo Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I expect a Conner Groce sighting tomorrow. I'll settle for nothing less. 1 Quote
Zippy87 Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Has anyone heard anything concrete on Bowen? Someone had mentioned (maybe in the recruiting thread) that he was going to try to get a waiver for an extra year. Edit: Zips posted an image of him on IG for senior night. Was about to post about this. Looks like Hardman is gearing up to graduate. Maybe the waiver decision will come later or it already has, but they're going to make sure he won't miss his moment to be celebrated. 1 Quote
HoopsFan03 Posted 39 minutes ago Report Posted 39 minutes ago Announcer on radio Tuesday said he is still trying to get the extra year and will be recognized tomorrow. 1 Quote

Seems like 6, 7, 8 years in college is the norm now. Glad to see that Groce continues to recruit quality human beings for athletes. Quote
