That Singletary punch was legitimately criminal, thrown by a guy who blew a .13 I believe during a DUI the previous season, Mr. Chris Singletary. Go Zips!
-
To be fair, there was an “s” in decades-long. I saw the Singletary punch in person, and I’m reminded by a stiff back every morning that my college days were more than 10 years ago. Zips by a million. kSU-CKS

The challenge is there are only a few mid-majors each year that provide Q1 win opportunities. Add in that the A10 and MVC already have a head-to-head competition then that doesn't leave many options. The idea isn't bad. I just don't know if it would lead to any better results. Edit: I believe the WCC and MWC also have a deal, which would further reduce the options.

It is great to see Remi Agunbiade's name on the roster. Remi , who was drafted in the MLS draft, definitely will be a future MLS player. I know that Remi will continue to improve...and will help the Zips have a great fall campaign. When looking at the roster, I am particularly excited by the 5 names shown as forwards. Angel Lopez Martin Aiden Benitez Remi Agunbiade Ignacio Alem Farrell Ngongang Angel and Aiden both had outstanding freshman campaigns at their respective schools. Farrell really has great talent and could be poised for a big step up in year 2. Ignacio had some outstanding moments late in the year. I think that Londen Sears and Leo Morana saw time as forwards in High School. I am sure that our coaching staff will find the best position for them in the college environment. You can never have too many good forwards and I am excited to see this group score some goals in the sping and in the fall.

By far the worst product in all of sports entertainment. I've not seen much of it in over ten years. When I come across a game while flipping channels, I wish I had spent the few minutes spacing out to commercials or watching a tidbit of a movie I've already seen 500x.

I definitely agree with one of Jared's statements !!!! "It is an exciting time to be a Zip soccer fan."

Best wishes to all our players who transferred of chose not to return. Besides Nathan Ferguson transferring to Belmont which was posted in the 2026 recruits thread, as I recall … UNCG posted on Instagram welcoming Caleb Borneo. Abdi Bahur transferred to UMBC I think.

The last couple years, the MAC was a detriment to the Sun Belt. This year, the Sun Belt is a detriment to the MAC. The only way the MAC/Sun Belt Challenge holds water is if it mutually benefits the conferences. Otherwise, I think both conferences would be better off keeping it to 1 game a year and reaching out to other conferences to create a Bracket Buster style event for the 2nd half of the season.
-
Just going off the rosters from last year to this year, it looks like the following have transferred: Malte Schmaus Connor Filsinger Aljaz Dodig Nathan Ferguson Caleb Borneo Abdi Bahur Jose Pedro I always liked borneo, I sat next to his mom at the SLU game and she said he was battling injuries late in the year. But I still think he didn't quite get the playing time he deserved all throughout the year (assuming he was healthy)

Great to see the Spring roster. Looking forward to seeing this team in Spring Exhibition action. Go Zips!!!

Interesting, maybe he committed and then got offered by Akron later in the day? D1 offer could quickly make him 0% committed? Actually it says “offer to play” sounds like a walk on offer to me. -
Can't State ALWAYS sucks. It is often said that athletics are the front porch of a university. It is fitting that the thugs of this program represent a corn field college with fashion and "financial engineering" (I mean, wtf kind of fraudulent program is that?) as among their most notable programs. Prediction: 95-78 Zips. Piggy gets T'd up twice because his players lack the desire and composure to compete with a superior, athletic, and well-coached team. This begins a rough patch in the schedule as Cant's luck begins to run out in several subsequent close games.

He posted this the exact same day???? 100% committed? The two posts are back to back??? -
Could not have said it better myself, except it has been longer than a decade for that pattern at Kent. Jacob (the interviewer) is a true Akron fan first and foremost, which is what the University needs to find more of as employees.

I honestly didn't even realize he was coaching for the Ravens. But this is great.

Anddd im out of reactions at 11am. This happens every time

The explanation cracks me up because it makes Miami & Kent look so much worse. Basically, Miami was expected to lose way more often than they have, despite having one of the weakest schedules in the country. Kent has been expected to lose more often despite already having 5 losses, 2 of which were to Portland (224 NET) and CMU (313 NET). When watching the games that I have of both teams, the high luck factor is very valid. I've mentioned it before with Kent specifically, but they prey on their opponent giving them games more than they actually win games themselves. Poor decision-making, poor shot making, opponents having injuries, etc. have contributed heavily to their 16 wins. Akron by a million tonight. Go Zips! IT'S 11:07AM AND...

Former Zip Travis Switzer is being reported to be the Browns new OC.

Akron, Miami, and Duke all tied at 27 for the longest home win streak now, after St Thomas lost last night.

I mean they call it advanced analytics for a reason.
