Trap Game š
- Today

I'm coming from Franklin County where there is a level 3 snow advisory yesterday and today (no going out except for emergency). I hope the advisory is eased and NE Ohio is OK with its roads. Toledo is one team I love to hate. Right up there with OU, but not even close to the emotion Kent generates.
-
I work remotely so I haven't had to leave the house today. My road, which is moderately busy, appears cleared. I imagine they will be working on the side streets today. It could still be a challenge for fans coming from more remote areas.
-
I was planning on bringing a group of 12 but had to do the 'adult' thing & cancel the outing. But still planning on bringing the same group to the KSUcks game!!! š¤šš¤š

I'm hoping tomorrow night is just far enough out from the snow storm that people will be able to get there with little issue. But it will be interesting to see how many show up.
-
It's rough out. I hope a few people show up tomorrow. UT is typically one of the best games of the year š
-
After watching even more special teams gaffes from the Rams in the playoffs, I don't think this was all Chase's fault.
-
why do you find it necessary to bring politics into a discussion of Enrique Freeman?
-
Much like everything else in Minnesota, the Timberwolves are frauds. Somebody needs to save Enrique and get him out of that organization.
-
The Timberwolves got blown out tonight and I checked the box score to see if Freeman got his first NBA action. Bad news, he was sent back down to Iowa. Good news, he scored 22 points and had 10 rebounds in their win on Sat. night.

Why do you think I said Friday will be fun? š

Class of '26 Verbal Commits and Offers/Discussion
catdaddyp replied to Blue & Gold's topic in Akron Zips Football Recruiting
Finally got around to watching his film. I know his social media says offer, and maybe Iām wrong, but seems like another walk-on to me. -
Really sucks this game ended up the same week as Kent. Iām sure a lot of people will choose Kent over this that donāt want to go to both. Roo blue night usually does pretty well and people know Toledo is usually good. We got hosed for home games this year by the conference scheduling

Thanks for posting. I think it's even more than the money. Mark Cuban just isn't rich. He has a deep understanding of how to structure complex organizations, including an NBA team. This experience no only allows one to spend a lot, but spend wisely. Indiana was an example of spending wisely. Many will try to copy, but since few have actual experience doing it they will fail. A car dealership isn't exactly Dell or an NBA team or Nike.

Looks like Nick Saban agrees with you.
-
My thoughts exactly. It seems like for every $1 of extra revenue there is $1.50 in extra expenses. More money has flowed into college football, even at the mid-major level, but the deficits seem larger than ever. Coaching salaries, facility upgrades, etc. seem to outpace revenue growth.
-
Something tells me they will spend it faster than they bring it in.
-
I feel as long as we hold our own (not necessarily win) the rebounding battle we will win comfortably. If Kent out rebounds us by 10-15 then those extra possessions can keep them around.
-
I would say that if all of their MAC games are close and all of ours (other than the loss) are not, that kinda indicates it might not be that competitive. But rivalry games don't always follow the script!
-
We'll run them out of the gym

https://akronzippedup.substack.com/?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email&utm_content=share Excellent reporting from Zipped Up which includes some crazy awful stats on the Rockets.
-
All of their MAC games have been decided by 10 or less. Next Friday is going to be fun.
-
Labor day weekend. Head towards your beach of choice after we get the W.
-
Even if the rich get richer, I think it's good for us in general because it is another potential revenue source. Any opportunity to push us from the red more towards the black is great.
