  1. Past hour
  2. This is the first moment where I can finally see a little of the "OK I see why they hired Moorhead." But...goodness they can't go choke next week against Kent State.
  3. THE AKRON ZIPS ARE PLAYING THE SECOND STRING IN A WIN THIS IS NOT A DRILL THE AKRON ZIPS ARE PLAYING THE SECOND STRING IN A WIN
  4. Frankly, this is the biggest show of progress we've had maybe in the Moorhead era. Yes, UMass is quite possibly the worst team in recent FBS history. But it's been a long time since Akron saw a straight-up bad team that just bludgeoned them like this.
  5. Lot of attention online on UA right now. Big Cat posted a couple times among others
  6. I'm not sure this UMass team would beat last year's Kenni Kent State.
  7. Today
  8. I don't believe I've ever seen a double face mask called on two players at the same time.
  9. About time to put Roggow or someone else in, for sure. I guess give it to the end of the third quarter.
  10. I think we all understand by now that the scholarship chart will likely be torched at the end of each season. That said, it's still helpful to have a long-term vision of what is possible. I'm less than confident with this update. Please let me know if you see an issue. Thanks. Zips add Ognjen Stankovic for 2025-6. RJ Jones and Jashawn Ladd for 2026-7. Cody Head (Junior), Tai Perkins and Josh Henderson (Freshmen) are redshirting this year. Never thought I would see a true PG redshirt, but times - they are a chang'n.
  11. Glad he's back in the game, but I think he should probably not be in right now.

  13. Holy crap, that was a legitimate article.
  14. Gage Summers got the double tire treatment, turnover and touchdown.
  15. Well, at least it's more recognizable as Akron football. 😲
