a lot of akron fans tonight. x had the game of the year. everyone played well. tribble had some great floaters. lead the entire game. we were the better team

My point was just that I would hate for us to go through a re-brand and then proudly unveil what could end up being the new swastika... and have a welter of coverage about Akron just rolling out its new Z focused logo as Putin was leveling Kyiv, killing tens of thousands, and using Z as the symbol of their victory or whatever. We barely survived I-coach and the Scarphoon. I sure as hell hope we don't bumble into an own goal like this. It's not canceling the letter 'z' (eye roll)- it's having the common sense to realize that this disaster in the middle of Europe will be going on for years (unless Putin gets smoked by a pissed off oligarch) and it would be beyond madness to willing opt to use a logo that is the same as the Russians. I'm all for ditching the script Akron if you can convince Putin to use that instead.

Every person in the arena tonight will have seen or heard it. The video sets a horrible tone for tonight. This will be the first thing mentioned by the commentators and will be repeated throughout the game because it adds DRAMA. Whoever loses tonight will be even more bitter. But this rests with Senderoff.

My issue with the MAC Kent State decision is that their Decision has now made the video more than what it was. Before the their statement No One was checking for that video. Now their decision has made the Video Viral smh. I rep #MACtion but please believe I can't stand #MACtion Should a stayed quiet and let them kids play it out on the court. It's a bitter rivalry for christ sake.

Apart from Jacobs, these guys are nobodies. As much as I hate Kent, that group shouldn't ruin the season for the other players. Moving on.

Woke up this morning feeling like crap. Then it dawned on me that my entire diet Friday consisted of four 16 oz jalapeno IPAs plate of nachos, two sundae cones and a big fat cigar. The recipe for a Zips win has been established.

Groce is well compensated and has a team of mostly Sophomores. He could really build a resume these next 2 years. Pinky's pay-to-expectations ratio is one of the best in the country. I don't see either leaving.

Yikes this is cringe. Gives me real Juju/Claypool vibes. I'd honestly be embarrassed to be a Kent fan after seeing this. Although why anyone would choose to be a Kent fan in the first place is beyond me. Hopefully it just motivates the Zips and they let their play do the talking.

I really had a good time tonight based on a combination of things. First, great turnout from the Zips fans and we were loud. Second, the Zips lead wire to wire and played pretty close to a perfect game. Other than Clark missing 3 foul shots at the end and a couple of turnovers, we did not take a bad shot, hit the boards hard and played great defense. Whenever Toledo made a run we always had an answer. We also made our foul shots tonight while Toledo was missing their foul shots. Finally, I stayed for Kent game and really enjoyed the college atmosphere. Ohio played poorly and still were within 4 points in the last 2 minutes. Kent is beatable. Also, it was so nice to yell and scream for your team without a mask. It just seemed that we were back to normal. This team is really playing well and really looking forward to tomorrow's game. Go Zips.
