  1. But the Stroth Center has a song
  2. I have not had issues either.
  3. Jimmal Ball career steals number (242) is wild (in 107 games) as is Zeke's 9 blocks in one game (which he did 2 times).
  4. David Detwiler continues to fight Update from January and another update from December
  5. Great read indeed. Thanks for writing @GeorgeThomasABJ
  6. Interesting that Rob Ianello wanted his hammer toe cut off.
  7. Akron couldn't make it happen but Canton did. USFL's Pittsburgh Maulers and New Jersey Generals will play in Canton during the 2023 season.
  8. Even through Former Zip Quentin Hines has been in trouble, there will be a 2023 draft on February 11th.
  9. Agreed. The onboarding process is important. Employees who experienced an effective onboarding are more likely to feel highly committed to their organization.
  10. Ali Ali's timetable to return is still unknown.
  11. Akron to tear down the rest of the Rubber Bowl. The estimated the cost of the demolition is $750,000. The city has applied for a state grant that would cover 80% of the project.
  12. One-on-one with Jamal Davis - Montreal Alouettes from 11/11/2022 The Als lost 34-27 to the Argonauts in the East Division Final on 11/13.
  13. Probably because he did not watch the game.
  14. Davis signs with Montreal Alouettes. It is a two-year deal.
  15. Didn't get to see it but 3 innings and 5 runs.
  16. From Jon Rothstein's article on the 10 Mid-Majors to Watch Akron: John Groce lost his top scorer — Ali Ali (Butler) — from last season’s team that nearly beat UCLA in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, but there’s still more than enough left over for the Zips to make a return trip in 2023. Akron’s two best players against the Bruins — Xavier Castaneda (13.6 points) and Enrique Freeman (13.2 points, 10.8 rebounds) — are back and so are juniors Greg Tribble and Mikal Dawson, who both started against UCLA. Northern Illinois transfer Trendon Hankerson (11.4 points) and Ole Miss transfer Sammy Hunter should both play key roles as newcomers. The MAC is as competitive of a mid-major league as there is in the country, but Groce has enough to get back to the NCAA Tournament next March.
  17. Davis worked out for the Steelers but was not signed.
  18. Apparently he was seen in a walking boot.
  19. For those who didn't get the survey, Akron is looking for input on Zips gear in the marketplace.
