Pretty sure the arrangement was a leaseback deal with the port authority. UA gets the cash, to pay off debt, the port authority gets all the parking revenue via a long-term lease deal to pay back the bonds. The new parking operator is there to make sure the port authority gets all their revenue( minus their fee). I've been to many Rubber Duck games and have always paid for parking. YMMV Seriously? Maybe you weren't aware, but UA leased all the parking lots for an 8 figure payment. That money has been used to help get UA out from under the mountains of debt that Proenza and others racked up during their tenures. BTW, OSU did the exact same thing.

Mike Dawson has not been able to get into the flow following his first few games. He is shooting 32% from the field and from 3pt. If you take away those first few games it's even worse. Thornton and T Johnson have not show any kind of consistency. Neither has shown the ability to take the ball to the basket and shoot or dish to the open man. They are too prone to turnovers and defensive lapses. We lack a ball handler who can break the press or get open on inbounds plays without drama. Teams with big athletic front courts have given us trouble. We have size but not strength. I like our odds of winning the MAC but it won't be pretty. Lots of close games grinding out wins.

Shutting down the north exits was a mistake that lasted only a minute or two. Paul Hammond saw it and corrected the ushers immediately.

I would bet it might look more like professional soccer. P5 and P5 lite. The lesser P5 teams would serve as cannon fodder for the upper P5 programs. Maybe some sort of relagation system for the P5 lite programs to move up and down if they perform well enough. That way the big guys keep all the money. The G5 will become glorified FCS.
