Z.I.P. Posted October 1, 2018 Report Posted October 1, 2018 Per Tweet from FoxSports College Basketball Insider Evan Daniels, JUCO post player Camron Reece, a pre-season 2nd team All-American has verbally committed to Akron. 2 Quote

Let'sGoZips94 Posted October 1, 2018 Report Posted October 1, 2018 Looks like he could be a game-changer on the interior. 1 Quote
zvillezip Posted October 1, 2018 Report Posted October 1, 2018 Impressive athlete. This team is going to be more athletic than many power 5 schools. If they can buy in on the defensive end watch out. 1 Quote
Illini Zip Posted October 1, 2018 Report Posted October 1, 2018 Will he be playing for Akron during the 2019-2020 season as a Junior? Quote
zvillezip Posted October 1, 2018 Report Posted October 1, 2018 That’s the way I read it. He comes next year as a junior. 1 Quote
Blue & Gold Posted October 1, 2018 Report Posted October 1, 2018 Yeah, almost certainly a Junior. GoZips dot com has Channel Banks listed as a Junior & Camron is taking the same rout to UA via Sheridan C.C. 1 Quote

clarkwgriswold Posted January 18, 2019 Report Posted January 18, 2019 Groce talked about Reece on Zips Live tonight. Said he and the coaches watched his most recent game and that he was a monster. He also talked about finding him while recruiting Channel Banks. A 6'6" power forward inside presence could really help this team. 1 Quote
Hilltopper Posted January 24, 2019 Report Posted January 24, 2019 Looks like we may have a winner here. 6 Quote

I used to dislike JUCOs, but I have really warmed up to them. I'm hoping Camron can be an instant impact player, especially on offense. From his highlights, he seems to be yet another aggressive, athletic guard/forward combo. Quote

Don't see any 5'11 guards on that list. Buffalo wants a group of 6'5-6'8 guys on the floor. Quote
kreed5120 Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 #17-#25 all have the same grade (.7000). Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 I have really liked what little I've seen of Reece. He should be able to come right in and contribute. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 Do we have a Nike rep that can "talk" to the #9 kid? Quote
RowdyZip Posted February 21, 2019 Report Posted February 21, 2019 I think Reece looks fantastic and will be a good contributor right away. But for reference sake, 247 scored Mike Bardo 0.7667. 1 Quote
