6’ 6” pottery-making power forward

I hear he has a wicked spin move he calls The Wheel and can really fire up a crowd.

The resilient old man's off to a 9-3 start? Hats off to him. Can he keep it up once conference play rolls around?

After watching a couple of games, I can say the Dukes work their tails off for Dambrot.  They have improved enough that .500 in a lackluster A-10 is doable.

It may be doable, but if I was forced to bet, I would bet against it.

Former KD assistant (and probably my favorite KD assistant of all time), Lamont Paris, is HC at South Carolina. He has Meechie Johnson playing for him, and they beat Kentucky at Rupp Arena for the first time since 2009.

The Dukes are settling back into the A-10 pack, going 3-3 over their last six. Meanwhile, KD’s neighbor to the east sits 5 games away from his coveted 20-win mark. In the perennial basketball wasteland that is Mahoning County YSU moves to 15-5, smoking Charles Guthrie’s former employer UWGB by 16 last night?

If YSU had done that several years ago that would be an impressive win. This year, not so much. Green Bay has racked up a total of 2 wins so far this year.

The Dukes continue their regression to the mean, losing to Fordham yesterday. The Captain’s Curse strikes YSU as well. Next I’ll curse Marshall…who’s rolling the at 17-4.

Crazy to think KD loaded his OOC schedule with a bunch of cupcakes, just to fall back to earth during conference play. I've never seen that before.

And somebody suggested we ban sarcasm from this board.  (LOL)
