clarkwgriswold
From that video it looks like the Pacers players and coaches are starting the appreciate what we had in Enrique. I couldn't be happier for the kid.

Got the blowout with Knicks leading by 30. Freeman playing almost the entire 4th quarter. Still has not taken a shot but has a great block. Love to see him make his first basket. Playing center and outweighed by 20 pounds but holding his own.

Freeman made his first basket on a offensive rebound and putback. Had 3 fouls and looked good. Did not take a shot on offense and mainly set screens.

Over/Under on the Enrique/Bronny all time NBA career point differential - 4,000 (in Enrique’s favor). Looking forward to revisiting this post in a decade. 😀

MDZip
And oddly Tristen Newton, the Connecticut guard who was drafted immediately after Enrique, has not shown up in the box score at all (even DNP - coaches decision) for a number of games, even though he is still listed as being on the Pacers roster. Maybe injured? They don't play the same position but Enrique has more minutes than Newton and Johnny Furphy, the Pacers first round pick. ZZZips
Enrique played Friday evening in Charlotte for the Pacers. He traveled back to Indianapolis with the team. He is in Indianapolis this morning. He will not play today in CLE.

Riq doesn't need any seasoning of how to act like a pro. Most NBA picks are just kids with no idea how to act.

Zippy87
Freeman should play a bit more over the next few weeks due to injuries. I still thonk the plan is for him to play quite a bit for the Mad Ants - they view him as a 3 in the NBA and Carlisle in particular has talked about the importance of his learning the position in the G League. He's playing post/center right now for Indy because they're so beat up as a team. Edited November 12 by Zippy87
MDZip
Pacers are third in the East with Enrique making contributions. Of course that is mostly a function of being in the Eastern conference where there are only two teams above .500. If the Pacers were in the west they would be in 12th place. 😊 Edited November 12 by MDZip
