A few might be 1-1 with a ranked loss. It's not like we've beat anyone that would catch voters attention this early in the season. Generally voters don't drop teams that win. Quote

clarkwgriswold Posted 3 hours ago Author Report Posted 3 hours ago 1 turnover to 6 assists for Tavari today. Only 7 turnovers for the entire team. Quote
NWAkron Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Halligan would start on a lot of MAC teams 1 Quote

Ouch!! I think it's important to for us all to remember with a lot of these guys that they are coming from different teams/systems (Ev. Mahaffey, Barre) or are just starting their careers (Er. Mahaffey, Stankovic). For example, I thought Eric and Evan both looked much more comfortable today than they did in the opener. I have a hard time believing that a player who started 1/3 of the games last year at a solid A10 school isn't good enough to even see the floor for us. It was good to see Barre out there and would assume he will play a lot Wednesday. I think we certainly need his size off the bench if we want to reach the goals we all have for this team. Quote

Barre or Briscoe will need to be able to perform when called upon. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted 2 hours ago Author Report Posted 2 hours ago Another factor I forget about Barre until now is that he spent some of the time in the off-season in a walking boot with a bad ankle, further setting him back. 1 1 Quote

I remember that now. I didn’t hear any talk about his injury. Edited 2 hours ago by Illini Zip Quote

This staff has a brilliant record in developing players. Of course Enrique comes to mind, but also how about Amani, MMK. If Briscoe and Barre are willing to work the staff will have them ready for more minutes. Quote
