Are you assuming his species? If Kent fans could read this they would be very upset.

Out of reactions but this is fantastic haha. His pronouns are almost certainly We/Suck.

It is a dark colored urine indicative of dehydration.

Their drought vs Akron will do that.

Akron is best team in MAC.

Steele's reactions in their game tonight showed me they're feeling the pressure of having to be perfect knowing Akron likely awaits them in Cleveland.

Why not? What's sweeter than flushing the Flashes three times in one season?

Haven't lost to them since March 2023. This would be 3 straight years of sweeps.

Lyles looks horrible tonight. He's nothing more than a big body out there.

Tonight Amani was non-existent. Cleveland is very simple. If Amani comes to play we win going away. Cut out the stupid passes, TO's, stupid fouls and defend the paint for rebounds and put backs and we are golden.

Somebody needs to grab a photo of the middle age Easter Buddy for future use.

Go boil your rabbit in somebody else's pot.

I have to suspect Tavari has the Zips record for wins over PCCC, especially for games in which he played.

Gillespie is the only player on Kent's roster to have also been on their roster the last time they beat the zips.

Hardman hasn't shot a single three but Young Johnson and Scott are 11 for 13!

And finished 13-15. That's crazy. Zips finished at 50% overall.

We did see him for a couple of minutes, no more. i do not understand why Groce doesn't get him minutes whenever he can. He will be needed this season and next. There were plenty of minutes available in the second half, especially after we were up by 20 and Armani was having a bad game by his standards. Let Chabi get some experience.

I felt Amani finished the game strong after being non-existent offensively for the first 30 and having a few early miscues. If you told me before the game that he would match Gillespie in rebounds and only score 2 fewer points I would have taken it.

I know he had some help defensively, but he was still the primary defender on Gillespie and holding him to 3/15 from the field and not getting bullied by one of the nations best rebounders makes this one of his best performances defensively this season IMO.

When we shoot the ball well from 3 we are unbeatable in the MAC.  We just have too much talent and athleticism and wear teams down.  We saw that in the 2nd half against Buffalo.  However, when we do not shoot the ball well from 3 we have enough talent to stay with the competition but it will be a close game.  Really hoping we get hot from 3 and send the Kent fans home early tonight.

We shot 50% from 3 and the Kent fans went home early tonight.  We were up by 25 and Groce slowed it down the last five minutes and we scored only five in the last 5 minutes.  I heard him in post game where he was upset that we did not play well in the last 5 minutes.  But this team is just not built to take the air out of the ball and have Tavari dribble the ball till the shot clock is down to 8.  Slowing the ball down is the right thing to do but it also means we score 5 points at the end of the game.

A few things here.

1) Surprised to see Sendy take accountability for once instead of trying to blame an injury, not having resources to compete, or whatever else.

2) Evan has played the PF position for Akron all season. This isn't some new revelation. Is this his first Akron game that he has watched/covered this season?

I will say the breakdown was otherwise very good. I do wonder if how much energy and focus Amani played with on the defensive end impacted his offensive play. I said before this may have been his best game defensively. Certainly it's up there.

Happy to see that Mr. Pinky didn't feel compelled to tell us how unimportant the game was.

Out of curiosity I looked and found Akron's longest win streak vs Kent is 9 games. That streak occurred from 1941 to 1947. Kent has never had a winning streak last longer than 5 games.

How large was Kent's series lead when Pinky was hired as HC? I believe it's now Akron +5.

When was the last time we won at Kent by 20 pts or more?

A couple years ago, when Freeman was here, we had a pretty comfortable 20 pt lead for most of the game but the refs took over and ruined the final score. I think we still won by double digits or almost double digits.

Outside of the 2024 MAC Title Game, this series hasn't been competitive since 2023.

The only problem with the win is this will probably push Kent down in net and not let us make this a Q2. Who cares at this point tho

It truly doesn't matter.  You win the MAC tournament, you go dancing...you lose it, you're biting your nails as to whether or not you get a home game in the Not Invited Tournament.
