I was traveling all day until now and just saw the CMU win. Great surprise!

I have not seen any of the games but when I look at the box score he just has not been playing well since he returned to Iowa. In one game he was a minus 26. The last game he shot 1 of 5 from 3 and only had 3-4 rebounds. After he returned to Iowa he seems to be shooting more three balls but has not been making them. Hopefully, he can turn things around the next game.

Would be a great pickup in my opinion. Plenty of upside potential.

Fast start ✅. Too bad the 2nd quarter was maybe the worst in the Gensler era. My good feeling was short lived. Talked to Portage Lakes Paul and Wadsworth Wally and they aren’t happy either.

I thought Young was more impactful also.

Today's matchup is of interest as it matches up two programs that are in the third year of a new coach. Former Zips assistant coach Box seems to have turned things around after talking over a really bad situation at Miami. The jury is still out on Gensler's tenure. 🤔

I'm not sure if Freeman had other two-way contract offers last summer, but I am not sure Minnesota is the best fit for him. They've shuffled him back and forth between Minnesota and Iowa but haven't had him active for any games in Minnesota. With Iowa, his usage on offense seems lower than last year with the Mad Ants. Last night, he wasn't even in during crunch time in the last 4 minutes. I really wish he could go elsewhere where there may be more opportunity.

I talk to myself a lot and am an optimist in life, but even I’m not talking myself into a win today. Sounds like Fairlawn Franks been spending a little too much time at….Franks.

Mike Lewis got off to such a great start when he showed up at Ball State 3 or 4 years ago. I really thought he was going to build something and be consistently competitive in the MAC. Since a great first year it's really gone downhill.

First ten minutes and the last 5 were great. The rest, not so much. The bench was very good last night. I like seeing Bowen and Eric start to heat up. Watching Eric grow up over his career is going to be fun. I sure hope we get to watch 4 years of it.

I'm keeping an eye out for Norton Norm.
