For everyone wondering. Made it out to a spring ball practice. Looks like currently the starters on the Oline are the following: LT: Jordan Daniels LG: Max Banes C:Tony Georges RG: Alex Robarge RT: Nate Williams This probably is not set in stone but this is what it looks like at the moment.3 points

I admittedly have never seen him play, but seeing that Ole Miss finished 13th in the SEC with a pretty weak front court, it's not all that inspiring that he was their 8th/9th man. Especially when you take into account his shooting splits. He very well could be an upgrade over Aziz off the bench (which would be useful), but certainly is not the player that will be able to replace Ali production. We still need that 3/4 player that can create his own offense and help space the floor. Castaneda can't do it all himself.3 points

I about crapped when i heard Joe say the DLine was actually getting after it. How long has it been that we had zero line pressure? I love that he is getting guys in that can create pressure and force the QB out of his comfort zone. The future looks bright. IJWT.2 points

He mentioned those 1st Team DL as being Curtis Harper (Syracuse transfer), Victor Jones (Wyoming transfer), Devon Robinson (Miss. St./Memphis transfer), and Julian Richardson (Arth recruit).2 points

The spring game is never massively attended. Especially for a Program that won 7 games in the past 4 years. It will be a "Family and Friends" crowd on April 30th (not unlike most recent home games). For those that have kept the faith over the past 4 seasons, it will be a fun Saturday on campus. Once the new staff's work becomes evident to the general public in the form of MAC Championship expectations, the spring game will gain some traction. In the near future, if all goes as planned, a crowd of 4, 000 to 5,000 would be a hell of an achievement...but it's possible.2 points

Devon Robinson looks like something we haven’t seen next to the rest of the DL, hope he plays as good as he looks1 point

We are going to have some real depth at DL then. We still have the likes of Fann, Wilson, Johnson, McClain, Morton, and Szy backing them up (assuming they don’t transfer)..all of whom have plenty of experience. I guess 4 new starters means we should raise our expectations of this unit.1 point

Word on the street is that Murphy had surgery this offseason, so isn't participating in Spring Ball. He should be a T when he gets back, moving either Williams or Daniels back to G.1 point

He mentioned the front 4 doing a good job, so it sounds like we will be running a 4 down front after all.1 point

I know it's just the Spring Game, but I'm pretty stoked to be back at stadium, see guys hit each other a bit, and just get a sense that things are going to be different with this new era.1 point

Some pretty impressive highlights on Hudl. Excellent lefty ball handler. Looks like she played a lot of point guard or forward.1 point

AKR 0-1 BGSU FT Zips players, coaches, managers, trainers and administrators, friends of program, etc. LISTEN UP! (Is this thing on?) Bowling Green is our chief adversary. No bout adout it!!! Falcons have beaten Zips in every match that has mattered for several outings, over multiple years. Where is that vomit emoji? They! Own! Us! Do not train your sights on any other foe until we dispatch Bowling Green. I do not want to hear any more rhetoric about national championships, blah, blah, blah. F***ing beat Bowling Green in Akron; then maybe we can talk about larger aspirations. Is this message overly nuanced or too subtle? Good! It is high time the people listed above start taking their work more personally. In yesterday's match, many Zips showed moments of brilliance, only to negate the positives with boneheaded plays or squandered opportunities. A silly foul here, a bad touch there. The little things accumulate. The one player I will salute is Ryan Kingsford, probably our best player. He continues to show grit and savvy, and a very strong work ethic. Playing in the hole is evidently Ryan's best position, so he should remain there. Kingsford's production is top drawer and consistent. Real quality. Too bad we do not have a few of him. And I am going to call out a good player that is underachieving. Because he deserves it. And also because he can take the criticism. Jason Shokalook can and must do better finishing in front of the goal. He is our best option up top. I have watched this guy score dozens of goals in his young career. But right now the goal seems like the eye of a needle to him. Do we still have a Sports Psychologist on the payroll? Relax, Jason. Do not hurry. Make solid contact. Pass the ball into the net. See you all in Columbus come Saturday!1 point

According to @zipmsoccer IG account, the Zips will indeed play the Flyers at 2:30 pm on April 16th at Historic Crew Stadium.1 point

We’re starting to see a lot of Victor Jones, Curtis Harper, and KJ Martin in these clips. It was only one play, but it’s exciting to see Oran Singleton getting matched up one on one with a safety (Martin). Also, Irons got the ball out quickly and (mostly) on target - would have been better if he led Singleton some, but I’m nitpicking here. I can imagine Singleton potentially slipping that tackle and taking it to the house in a game.1 point

Any transfer we are going to get is either going to be a player who felt they were “too good” for their situation or clearly not “good enough” for their situation. Choose wisely. I want the best players for our team. I don’t care if they come from Ohio, Long Beach State, or Wake Forest. I’m not going to pretend I know if a player doesn’t have a team oriented attitude or won’t commit to playing defense. Coaches job is to vet that.1 point

Do better than 1st team All MAC player?? Our window is now and he’s a perfect fit. Sign me up.1 point

A good athletic looking body, but his numbers at Ole Miss are not very good. One spot filled, though. Probably could have been better, but I need to watch him play first to see what he does.0 points
