It's the Joe Dunn and Joe Moorhead Show. Or in other words, the JoJo show. Perhaps Fiesta Pizza on Newton Street in Goodyear Heights should sponsor the show! Go Zips!3 points

DeAndre is Great. In the historical discussion of right backs, Kofi Sarkodie has to be in the conversation. Zip nation will always remember Kofi’s game winning goal against Michigan in the 2010 semis.3 points

Does seems to be a real nice get for BG. Hopefully we keep recruiting him because I'm sure he'll decommit once Loeffler gets fired this year.3 points

Another tip. After you save and open your tickets, take a screen shot of the ticket with the QR Code. You can then easily text the tickets, and or parking pass to anyone in your group, rather than using the app.2 points

First time I have been legitimately excited for Akron football in a long, long time. Hopefully this is the start of something special.2 points

And I will be in cell-service-less Mohican until Saturday afternoon. Bummed. Go Zips! For those going, welcome Joe Mo back to Akron loudly. Can't wait to watch highlights and read the board's takes. Akron GameDay with excitement. Been a long time.2 points

The Man of Steele Leads Yellowjackets Recent interview with Steele Wasel. The interviewer isn't the best, but within the 14:00 mark he gets into Akron commitment. Sounds like his connection with Moorhead and QC coach is a big part of him wanting to play for Zips. Makes me feel good that no matter how successful he will be this year in his senior season, his connection to coaches will keep him committed to the Zips.2 points

Where I am, 10-10 four minutes from half. SFU is garbage. Run the score up. Recruits don't want to go to schools where the scores are close against SFU. Destroy these guys in the second half.1 point

For TWENTY YEARS I've wanted our downtown establishments to get behind the Zips... especially on game days. In YEAR 1.5 this guy's on top of it! 💪💪 (It was probably wise to not ask this of our downtown neighbors last year 😅)1 point

One click on the link from my email saved the ticket to my Google Wallet (Android user). Seems pretty nice, assuming it works this evening!1 point

Website has been updated. It actually looks professional. That being said I still cannot find a depth chart. Let's go Zips! Get a W1 point

Fyi, those tickets cost way more than the $30 printed on them. Most of it is the required donation to the Z Fund. Club seats are really great for games with inclement weather.1 point

Hopefully you'll be able to enjoy the river float! Also the game is on ESPN3, so should be available for replay even without ESPN+ subscription.1 point

Though I work downtown, I was unable to attend. It looks like a great turnout & sounds like it was a blast. I hope they do it next year!1 point

Do you have a smart phone, @Football grandma? I waited till the last minute & downloaded my tickets yesterday, but, thankfully, it worked without a hitch. But I've got an iPhone. Using my iPhone, I opened the emails from Akron Athletics (one email for parking passes, a separate email for game tickets). It then automatically asked if I wanted to transfer each individual parking pass and ticket to my iPhone "wallet." I clicked "yes" and they transferred right over (one at a time). Now, when I open my iPhone "wallet" app, I can see tabs for all of my parking passes and tickets. I then simply touch the tab I want and it displays either the selected parking pass or the selected ticket on the entire face of the iPhone screen.1 point

The tarps were there last season as well FYI. I think they're fine and would expect they be removed if demand ever warranted it. With that said, I would prefer they were elsewhere (probably the top middle). The band sits on the left and usually the away fans on the right. The first 6 or so rows really aren't prime seats anyways..hard to get a good view of the entire play.1 point

The purpose of seats is to have people in them too. Maybe just knock down that side and throw some billboards up. Here's an idea, cover up the ugly concrete walls with paid for advertising1 point

Do you suppose we are getting close to seeing a depth chart???1 point

The purpose of tarps is to make it look more full for TV. At least have the people concentrated in sections that will be seen on TV.1 point

This will be the last time on this list for us. JoMo!! Worst teams in College Football1 point

I don't mind the tarp idea. But for heaven's sake, tarp off the corners and upper sections that no one sits in, not prime seats 🤦🏻♂️1 point
