  1. On the plus side, Hankerson has strung together a few good games. He seems to be emerging as that 3rd scoring option.

  2. The second half bought them some props. Overall not real pretty, but could have been much worse. X in a bit of a funk, Rique struggled to his scoring total, he usually doesn’t struggle against a matchup like that. Tavari was brutal, lots of silly passes. Nate Johnson came to play after a horrendous showing in Peoria. If these guys struggle on open looks like this throughout MAC play, they will be average. But the offense itself works alright, just not a good shooting team which is very frustrating. Now the fun begins. Bring on NIU.

  4. The Coppin State game was a nice way to finish off the non-conference schedule, and it was a good game for the women, as CS played a very physical, up-tempo game. It should prepare them for the MAC at a nice time, coming off the Florida trip. FT shooting was not strong, oddly, but Bass made an unbelievably off balance put-back from a near prone position that was a highlight! The CS coach was hilarious! Tried to get thrown out, thought he was thrown out, but hadn't been...until he walked off the floor and got the second T. I'm predicting a 9-13 season, sadly....but it could be a 500 season if things happen right.

  5. Big whiff by me lol. Note to self, if it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

  6. I think Rahama has only passed the ball twice this half

  7. Would that Rahama kid be interested in a D1 scholarship?

  8. This is a meaningless game. I would prefer that the Zips not play like it is a meaningless game. Sleepwalking.

  9. Congratulations to the Mid American Conference. This year may be the best bowl results ever for the conference. It could have been better, but BGSU lost their QB to injury with MacDonald and Miami may have also lost their QB to an injury (not sure). The MAC could have been 5-1 or 6-0 versus 4-2. However, a very good year to be proud of. Our competition is getting stiffer, and that is a good thing. Go Zips!!!

  14. They double and triple Freeman or anyone else under basket. Have to make miracle shots. No expectations but I can't see this team winning on the road anywhere.

  15. Agreed. We’re seriously offensively challenged.When X isn’t unconscious from 3 we’re toast.

  19. Ball unfortunately had The Betty White Bone Density Syndrome. Lingard was injured early in his college career, but seems to be healthy towards the end. He just got stuck behind a couple great Florida backs. Hope he has a fairy tale ending at UA.

  20. Certainly not as much fun as seeing the tweets, but if you keep an eye on Post #1 of this thread I'm keeping it updated with which of our Verbal Commitments have signed their LOI's today.
