Why aren't the announcers saying, "OU doesn't have a kicker," or are they directed to only talk negatively about Akron?3 points

I can't read article, but maybe they could think inside the box and play games on Saturday and field winning teams and stop scheduling rivalry games during midweek. Geez. 🙄3 points

Well! 45 years of attending games. 20 years of season tickets. My name on the donors plaque outside Infocision. Froze my rear off today. I think i'm finally done. I can't take it anymore.2 points

How would a neutral site game in Florida benefit anyone? If fans aren't going to games where the actual school is, who is going to go to a MAC game in Florida?2 points

Won 2 games Technically should have been 1 game Hope Morehead is enjoying the money he is stealing along with his homer over the hill fans who defend him.1 point

I spent the day moving huge heavy dressers from one basement to another. I think I was better off.1 point

Ohio is a better team from top to bottom right now. They had some open opportunities in the first half and either misfired or dropped the ball. Bobcats put it together in 2nd half. Similar game plan in the first half as last week. 2nd half we had to play catch up and throw the ball more which hasn’t been our strength all season. Defense didn’t create any turnovers. Ohio caught us several times on the blitzes that did not get home. Fish and Adler had tremendous games. Fish finished the year slightly under 100 total tackles. Jackson had a few monster punts. Enjoyed watching Lingard this season. Would have been nice to see him utilized more earlier in the year. Good luck to the seniors and I hope we see a few of the guys make NFL rosters. I’ll update the position groups as signings and transfers occur. I thought this would be the year we’d turn the corner, but clearly I was wrong. Too many close losses again. We’ll see if we can retain our better players and continue to improve the talent level. QB - Undercuffler (Bullock) RB - Lingard (Anderson) WR - George (Norton) WR - Gathings (Norton) (WR) - Golden (Walker) TE - Banka TE - Newell LT - Chambers (Blanchard) LG - Frank C - T. Williams RG - Lyons RT - N. Williams DE - Nunnally (A. Smith) (Richards) DT - Jones (Robinson) DT - Lavea (Moore) (Carter) DE - Adler (L. Jackson) LB - Fish (Griffin) LB - Cooper (Griffin) NB - C. Thomas (Lewis) CB - Durant (Threatt) CB - Tallandier S - Martin (C. Thomas) S - Thompson (C. Thomas)1 point

I am impressed that they have not thrown in the towel considering how bad the season has been. Would love for them to come away with a win. However, this season has not gone well even when we have a lead. Need to come out in the 2nd half with another scoring drive.1 point

What are Zips fans thankful for this year?? I am thankful the season is over tomorrow. It’s an annual tradition marking the beginning of Christmas holiday in my house. 🎄1 point

They're either unable or unwilling to compete in FBS. FCS is the only logical solution.1 point

JFC. Cancel a home game vs an SEC team and then three days later complain about attendance and suggest we play neutral site games in Florida. We are so stupid1 point

You are wrong on many counts. Miller has been great as the President of UA. He has been working hard to undo all the damage done by Proenza etc... Guthrie has raised the level of accountability in the atheletic department to a much higher standard. Pretty soon you will see where this money is going. It won't be to fund trips and amenities. It will be to improvements in facilities that will benefit fans and athletes. If you feel otherwise you really should just walk away.1 point

Just to show you how wacky this all is w/NCAA .... consider Bandaogo's argument. 1) If losing his head coach and mentor (Mark Madson went to Cal) was such a mental hardship, why didn't he follow Madsen to Cal? 2) And I understand this ia a greatly embellished press release https://gouvu.com/news/2023/4/6/mens-basketball-todd-phillips-named-utah-valley-mens-basketball-head-coach.aspx But it reads like the new Utah Valley head coach was the guy who did all the work with Bandaogo, and not Madsen. Anyway, the real power move was getting the Ohio AG to step in. If the Zips can get him to do the same, then there should be a chance for Ali this season.1 point

Rumors are that Ryan Day took time away from his TTUN game preparations to strategize how he can be sure to be in the position to call three timeouts with less than a minute left in the first half to get in position to kick a field goal to extend a 35-7 lead when the Buckeyes are already getting the ball to start the second half. Yeah, I can hold a grudge.1 point

You shouldn't renew them. Joe Akron hasn't asked for much for a long time. The University is stealing money from Joe Akron who just wants to see a good football game and have a nice day at a game. If you feel the urge to go, go stand around and wait for someone to give you a free ticket. You can basically sit just about anywhere you want. My advice to anyone who wants to financially support the University is to find a scholarship that gives money directly to needy students and donate.1 point

Well said! The only fans I want to hear from are those who show up every week and we got screwed out of a winnable home game. Miller and Guthrie are a couple of clowns. I wish they would go join the circus. That 3 mil will go a long way of funding our leaders and their over priced salary, trips and other amenities. I am ever so close of not renewing my season tickets.1 point

why do you think that? Isn't playing in front of 100,000 at Tennessee a thrill, or other past big games. This just reeks of being a Suckeye or else fan base.1 point

One thing that gives me hope of not losing key contributors to the TP is the Wagon Wheel postgame interview with Lingard. According to him he absolutely LOVES it here and plans on being a presence around the program for the rest of his life. He's played at both Miami-FL and Florida, so I'm sure he's letting the fellas know they're in a good place and the grass is definitely not always greener.1 point

... and those who took the Zips for over 3.5 can only sit here knowing that ticket is dead and dream of what I'm watching today on The Pat McAfee Show at James Madison University. That used to be a school we'd schedule as 'filler' and expecting a 'W.' Their fan base is absolutely energized and electric (granted, they are a captive audience in the middle of a mountain valley), national shows (CGD and PMS) are showing up on campus, their football team is undefeated and their basketball team recently went into East Lansing and took down #4 MSU in OT. Let's go Joe Mo, gotta step it up next year.1 point
