Zippy87 Posted July 22 Report Posted July 22 Sounds like the Pacers may move on from Freeman (or at least not offer a two-way) 2 Quote

clarkwgriswold Posted July 25 Report Posted July 25 Enrique is now off to Minnesota after the Pacers pulled back his two-way offer. 2 1 Quote

I wonder if they play to play him as a post or a wing. I seem to remember Indiana saying they wanted him to be a wing, but then he never played much there. Minnesota is already fairly deep down low: Naz Reid Julius Randle Leonard Miller Jesse Edwards Joan Berringer Rocco Zikarsky Quote

Everyone else is either unproven or a JAG (just another guy). If Minnesota is placing Freeman on a two way deal, they're likely not expecting much from him this season. Mainly break glass in case of emergency (fill in in case of injury plague) with the hope he can develop into something a season ot two down the line. Quote

1981 grad Posted Thursday at 10:17 PM Report Posted Thursday at 10:17 PM Any updates on Freeman? If he does not get an offer on a 2 way contract, would it be better for him to sign with another team as a free agent or go to Europe and play and make some decent money. Did not see anything that Minnesota offered him a 2 way. Quote

Europe would pay far better, but G-League would provide him an easier pathway of potentially making an NBA roster in the future. Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted yesterday at 12:17 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:17 AM I'm not sure what's happened as to the Enrique to Minnesota rumors. It seemed pretty solid the night of the alumni game. Quote
Hilltopper Posted yesterday at 02:27 AM Report Posted yesterday at 02:27 AM Pretty sure there is a dead period right now for contracts. Quote
akzipper Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago I'm so happy I don't have to root for the Pacers anymore! 🙌 Go Wolves. Quote
1981 grad Posted 13 hours ago Report Posted 13 hours ago Great news!!! I guess it was a done deal but had to wait until today to announce it. I hope he continues to improve and Indy regrets their decision to release him. 1 Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I guess I'll have to overlook my disdain for Anthony Edwards. Go T-wolves! Quote
zippy5 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago I never really had an NBA team, so Rique was my excuse to root for the Pacers last year. It was a very fun team, I'm excited for him but bummed he's not a part of it now. Guess I'll buy a Wolves jersey now 😂 1 Quote
