Enrique Freeman

I'm not even sure he has to hit 3 pointers.  What about a consistent 12-15 foot jump shot?

Absolutely. I said 10 foot, but basically a shorter arc from around the free throw line. Groce uses bigs that can shoot to pick for all guards. Not just the point guard. The guard drives to the hoop to score, if he gets cut off the guard turns around to feed the often open big at 10-12 feet. The more tools each player on the floor has the better. The offense becomes like watching butter get churned.

I completely agree. The stats show Freeman has taken 3 3-pointers this year. And I have missed them all somehow. Have you seen him shoot from deep? Does he have good form?

He is somewhat like Deng Riak from what I have seen, he has the ability to make a shot, he just has a slow release. Though that is mostly just from warmups, I wouldn't be surprised if he develops a longer range shot soon.

The only mid major (not including basketball-only Dayton).

Just to be clear Dayton is not basketball only, just FCS in football. But I get your point still pretty damn impressive for Enrique to be included on this list.

Enrique a Top 10 Finalist for the Karl Malone Award - going to the best PF in D1 college basketball 👀🔥🔥🔥

There are some really good players on this list. To be included is quite an accomplishment.

Of course, but the financial commitment of FBS level football vs. FCS level football is large. UD's basketball arena received the FBS level football stadium commitment.

The new team slogan: Churn the butter.

That's even better than row the boat.

Not for nothing at hoophallawards.com fans can vote in support of players for awards including the Malone award. It is worth checking out and representing well for Enrique.  He certainly has represented us well and deserves the return.

Linkie, please?? ☺
