Captain Kangaroo Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 We’re shooting 33% from the field and up 18. 🤨 Quote

Let'sGoZips94 Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 8 MAC teams have lost to CMU. 8. Only 2 have beaten them. The MAC BLOWS. 2 1 Quote

LZIp Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 Felt like the sloppiest 21 point win I can recall, but I’ll take it. Beat JMU! 2 Quote
Westie Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 JMU would be a quad 1 win if I read correctly. No MAC implications but would be a nice gravy win. Quote

csims0917 Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 Bad night shooting but beating the “2nd best team in the MAC” by 20+ with two starters out is still a good outcome 1 Quote

Some nights you bring your C or D game and your opponent brings their A game and that's enough for them to overcome the disparity in talent. We live in a world where a 16 seed has beaten a 1 seed. Nothing should be all that surprising. 2 Quote
clarkwgriswold Posted February 7, 2024 Author Report Posted February 7, 2024 Not a great night shooting. Very pleased by how Tavari continues to develop. He could have packed it in when he was sitting early in the season and watching Kaleb and Shammas taking his minutes but he's stuck with it and really come along well. 3 Quote

Captain Kangaroo Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 Dawson is shooting 31% from behind the arc, and went 2-10 last night. Tough to justify taking 10 3's when you're shooting in the low 30's this far into the season. Nate Johnson was shooting 43.4% before he was injured. Miss that guy. 2 Quote

LoyalZIP Posted February 7, 2024 Report Posted February 7, 2024 Dawson’s shot just isn’t coming around. But I wouldn’t fault him for taking the ones he did last night. Good looks, comfortable game, let it fly. Ali’s perimeter shot hasn’t quite come back around consistently, but my goodness is he fun to watch. Tribble and Ali can both “create their own shot” and Tavari can as well when he gets in the zone. 2 Quote
