You might have another player you can add to that list. 😊

We just beat the #2 team in the conference by 21 and we'll probably drop in the NET. Wow. We actually moved up 4 spots.

Good looks, comfortable game, let it fly. I think there's a reason he's getting open looks. Hope he rights the ship. Groce obviously still has confidence in him. Also hope Johnson and his 43% shooting from 3 returns soon, but it sounds like we'll be lucky if he's available before the MAC tourney. He has always gotten these looks. He filled in for both Nate and Sammy last night, one game after shooting 40% at a high volume. Groce would have benched him had he not taken those shots. Opponents are not willingly leaving him open. Edited February 7 by LoyalZIP sp

I'd love to see Dawson occasionally take it to the hole. It might actually result in defenses giving him more space on the perimeter. To date, 129 of the 152 shots he's taken have been threes. That's 91%!

Illini Zip
I think if TJ keeps improving at this rate he will be back in the starting rotation in no time. Both teams had spells where they struggled shooting and Scott had a brutal 3 minute stretch. On top of that we had a bunch of ill-advised passes that easily could have been turnovers. That said, I didn't see anything from Central Michigan that explains how they went 8-2 to start the conference. I have to admit, this was my only time watching them. But I could see them dropping down the standings drastically by the time we reach the MAC Tourney. Edited February 8 by Illini Zip

NWAkron
I take into account that Central won their last 2 games in Double OT, including over BG on Saturday. Zips had an extra day off and were on home court. Central's Pritchard had a pretty good shoulder injury. Central doesn't have the Zips talent or experience, so you combine that with the other factors outcome not surprising.

Bizarre how a point guard cannot make a contested layup. He had a brutal game last night shooting. I agree that if TJ keep up his play she should get back into the starting lineup.
