Captain Kangaroo Posted September 7, 2024 Report Posted September 7, 2024 Amazing how many opponents all time program records get set against the Zips. 1 Quote
exit322 Posted September 7, 2024 Report Posted September 7, 2024 The team playing like they know this is an unserious program scheduling these nonsense games. Quote

Didn’t expect to do any damage to Big 10 teams this season. Ditto SEC teams. Did someone say bad Kent team? 2 Quote

That would require someone in a position of authority to give a $h!+. This would all be so much better with games on neutral fields in Florida and more tarps over the seats. Basketball can't get here fast enough. Quote

More like we can barely afford to fund the program as is. What's the alternative? Take money away from a football program that's already near the bottom of the MAC in funding and using it to pay a mid six figure buyout to bring in another coach? Quote

We fired Arth under similar circumstances. Though would hope the powers that be have a little more patience with Moorhead. 2 Quote
Reslife4Life Posted September 7, 2024 Report Posted September 7, 2024 We can’t fire another head coach less than 3 years into his tenure, especially when this one has seen a glimmer of hope unlike Arth. No one will actually want to accept the job 1 Quote

clarkwgriswold Posted September 7, 2024 Report Posted September 7, 2024 They're not firing Moorhead. The days of paying multiple head coaching contracts simultaneously are over. 2 Quote

ZipCat Posted September 8, 2024 Report Posted September 8, 2024 This forum is just hilarious. ZERO people expected this game to be anything but a loss. ZERO people (except me the homer who alway says the Zips will win) thought this game would be anything but a devastating Loss. Yet everyone acts like the sky is falling, we need to fire Morehead now, after the two most predictable losses in the history of the program. Good lord. Folks: We've tried the fire-a-coach-every-three-years strategy numerous times, how the hell has that worked out over the past 20 years? 1 Quote
