clarkwgriswold Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago The Zips head to Portage County Friday night to face the 21-7 Flushes. The Flushes are coming off of a last second 83-81 win over CMU. Delrecco Gillespie continues to lead PCCC. He is third in the MAC in scoring at 18.8 ppg and leads the league in rebounding at 8.6 rpg. The Zips handled PCCC earlier in the season in the JAR, handing them a 69-52 loss on a night PCCC went 1 for 23 on three pointers. 1 Quote
Blue & Gold Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago This could be a much different game. KSUcks won't be ice-cold from behind the arc & they'll have Whaley back, who hit the game winner last night vs. CMU. We've beaten KSUcks 6 times straight 🤞 At the JAR it looked like we were in their heads 🤞🤞 4 Quote

clarkwgriswold Posted 2 hours ago Author Report Posted 2 hours ago Need to limit the turnovers. After Tuesday night the Zips are likely to see a lot of defensive pressure. Limit the turnovers and stay close on the rebounds and the Zips should win. Quote
Westie Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Kent has played an incredible number of close games. To their credit, they have pulled through in most of them. Gonna likely see them twice coming up. I fully expect Kent to try and get under the Zips skin by being super aggressive. Show composure, rebound and make every possession count. Zips get it done but it’s gonna be a battle. Quote
ZipsFan31 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I think this has loss written all over it. But we live in their heads rent free. We will break their hearts again. Quote

It seems quite possibly like a loss. But then you gotta remember that we're 37-2 (i think) in our last 39 MAC games if you include MAC tournament games. (This dates back to the consecutive losses to EMU and WMU going into the 2024 MAC Tournament.) So we'll probably win easily. 😅 Quote
