  1. Past hour
  2. Either a UConn booster wants him, or JoeMo is desperately trying to get out of Akron. Either way, there should be a red carpet rolled out for his departure.
  3. Probably not plausible. TTU and BYU are much too strong a potential champion to get bumped by a G5.
  4. I think we've hit the point in college football that there are no surprises.
  5. I anticipate a LOT of events being held there when it opens.
  6. The Charli D'amelio to joe moorhead pipeline is not something I would've expected to happen
  7. I believe we’re recruiting him as a DB.
  8. Today
  9. Washington knocks off Stanford. Wow. 2 Big Ten 2 Big East 1 ACC 3 Whatever the Heck Conferences
  10. Cleveland could have not just the best stadium in the Midwest, but in at least half of the country. People should be excited.
  11. It’s been all quiet on the VT front the last several days but Joe’s name keeps coming up as a candidate for the UConn head coaching job. Looks like possibly mutual interest, but as someone on here mentioned previously, his 13-35 record at Akron would be a hard sell to fans and boosters.
  12. This is a good practice game against size. We should win by 20 but hopefully we rebound and defend well!
  13. Match is scheduled for Saturday at 1 pm.

  14. AND traveling from St. Louis to Rhode Island back to St. Louis and then to Akron
  15. Fantastic! First time in 10 years we host an elite 8 match!
  16. Saint Louis went directly over to the Bryant student section to taunt them after the win. Tells me you can possibly get in their heads a bit.
  17. What an absolutely ideal day for us! Not only does St. Louis win, but they have to play an additional 20 minutes to do it!
  18. WE ARE STAYING HOME. FILL THE HILL ONE MORE TIME
  19. SLU advances on PKs. Akron will host!
  20. And the Billikens will come to Akron!
  21. Was this post supposed to be in the football section?
  22. The MAC is HQ’d in Cleveland. Hope they do it.
  23. Soccer shouldn't be played on turf. The lines should make Bryant ineligible to host anything soccer related.
  24. Tremendous article from the Cleveland Plain Dealer (this is currently not a subscriber only article...hopefully, all can access?) I have not yet seen the press conferences....but this has quotes from several zips players, Coach Embick and the Duke coach https://www.cleveland.com/sports/college/2025/12/akron-zips-mens-soccer-gives-duke-the-cold-shoulder-moves-into-ncaa-elite-eight-with-2-0-victory.html “The crowd drove us through that game,” Daragh Reilly said. “You could see in the last 10-15 minutes, we were getting tired. We were trying to push each other, but every time we got a play, we made a tackle, the momentum kept swinging back to us. “Big shoutout to the fans tonight. I don’t think we could have been anywhere near without that tonight.” “Awesome performance not only from our team, but from the fans and community that packed this place in this weather and were behind us the whole game,” Coach Embick said. “We fed off that energy, and I think that really helped us through some moments where maybe we weren’t playing as well as we wanted.”
  25. Also the lines on the Bryant field are terrible. It’s like a bowling green orange color on the green turf with football lines fading. So hard to tell where anything is
