  1. Past hour
  2. keshawn hayden is the one that backed out of the zips and chose eastern kentucky... i was looking at this cam williams. his agent says that he has 10 FBS offers and he will be announcing soon. He lists 6'5 the school site has him at 6'3 both have him at 250... decent stats at atlanta clark. offers i saw were Troy, akron, memphis, eastern carolina, middle tennessee state, coastal carolina, western kentucky, jax state i dontknow if all those r fbs but those r the offers i saw on his site... so we shall see. he looks like a tackle. looks very thick.
  3. If you take out NIU we get one more game against one of the following: Miami, BG, OU, Toledo, Umass, or CMU its not NIUs fault, but it would’ve been nice if they just got out when it was announced they were leaving
  4. Exactly, without NIU the MAC would have 12 teams. That means if you played each of the other 11 teams 2 times you would have to play 22 conference games. The MAC only plays 18 conference games.
  5. I can’t believe EKU beat us out?!
  6. Need more of this
  7. Akron played Miami once last year and in the prior year. Akron also play Ohio once this year, and they are more of a basketball rival than Miami. Has nothing to do with NIU.
  8. Today
  9. Would be a HUGE pickup if we somehow landed him. Would surely soften the blow from Hayden to EKU
  10. I still don't see them running the table. They're good and deserve the recognition they're getting, but there have been much better teams in the MAC over the last ~70 years. If those teams couldn't do it, it would almost be a shame to see this team do it. That last Oates UB team was special. Had they achieved it I wouldn't be as disappointed.
  11. Yesterday
  12. “Coach is right this isn’t just about hoops, it’s about our future!”
  13. As much logical sense this makes. I also hope Miami loses, I just hate seeing them being americas darling when we are just as good
  14. Both Rudy Gobert and Naz Reid are hurt for Minnesota. Enrique may finally be active tomorrow.
  15. Akron currently favored by 8.5 points with an O/U of 169.5
  16. So Texas Tech got Miami of Ohio edge rusher, Kent State edge rusher and Akron's own Julien Laventure.... seems crazy
  17. I'm sure he prefers the academics at Texas Tech than what Virginia could offer him. 😉
  18. How is it that some players are just injury prone. I think that is why he did not have a large number of minutes at Duquesne. I feel sorry for the guy. Must be frustrating.
  19. I hope they go undefeated and we get to play them in the MAC finals. That would be fun and add some national interest in the game.
  20. that's crazy... he was introduced to zips d line last night....
  21. And look who's #1 😐
  22. Nate Johnson isn't the problem at Kansas State IMO. If you look at his numbers his FG%, 3P%, FT%, steals, and assists are all above last years numbers. His point total is down because his shot attempts are just down because he's Kansas State's 3 or 4th scoring option, not first. I actually don't think Kansas State is all that bad. I actually watched their game against Oklahoma St. the other night. They just play in what looks to be a very strong conference and have lost some close games OSU and Arizona State. Not to mention they lost to #7 Nebraska by 1. They can field a strong starting 5, but their bench looks underwhelming. Instead of giving Nate what they did they probably should have split that money adding 2-3 players instead. They would likely be in a better place.
  23. Screw NIU for making the MAC schedule lopsided so we don't get 2 cracks at Miami. Their inevitable downfall is going to be sweet to witness.
