Well, the Akron coaches aren’t providing all the same services to JoeMo that she was providing to Sherrone!
-
He also almost doubled the salary of the the admin he was having relations with. She was making over $90k. How many Akron coaches are making that?
-
Who were the other schools behind?
-
St. Paul school for the blind
-
Great to see the progress. I knew it was BS related to the Arth exodus.

According to The Athletic (via NY Times) today, Akron is the #5 worst NCAA BCS football head coaching job, based on limited resources, unappealing city/location, campus/culture, and academics. Kent is worse.

Who is Miami playing? Hiram, John Carroll, or Mount Union?

One of these days the planets will align, and l will be able to actually see Rica play in DM. I wish the Timberwolves would consult me; so, l could arrange my schedule to make it happen. I have a 15' drive to the arena.

Saturday is a very fun slate. Akron v Murray State UMass v Florida State CMU v Stony Brook (old buddy Geno Ford) Toledo v Robert Morris Ohio v St. Bonnie in Cleveland Miami OH and NIU also play but their games don't count in the "very fun" category.

This has been the type of game we lose and plummet in the rankings. This game could be the difference between 11-12 and 12-13 seed in the long run if we are at 28-29 wins instead of 30. I like this Murray St roster a lot but they are still brand new. Need to beat them with experience, chemistry and defense!!!

2-way. All day. Every day.

This is turning into a comedic bit at this point.

Vermont won the national championship in 2024. Rob Dow, the head coach of that team, is now the new head coach of Penn State. The excellent teams in the American East continue to lose their coaches to the Power conferences New Hampshire had tremendous teams in the early part of the decade. At the end of 2023, NC State hired New Hampshire head coach Marc Hubbard. In Hubbard's 2nd year at NC State, the Wolfpack are in the final 4. https://gopsusports.com/news/2025/12/11/2024-national-champion-rob-dow-named-penn-state-mens-soccer-head-coach

Tracking Roster Movement going into 2026
ZippyDoo replied to catdaddyp's topic in Akron Zips Football Recruiting
Just looking at Cat's list above there's 18 from defense alone that either graduate or have already hit the portal, six on the line out of twenty (thats interior and edges combined) I'm sure Bruno is next. No way Bruno stays. Akron cannot have the money to pay him to stay and he has worked to hard to pass up the money. With Laventure, Madden, and K. Murphy leaving, Zips are losing three of the four interior linemen with any experience. Hull obviously has the most and hopefully they give Mixon the chance to cut loose. Because of the lack of concern to get depth on the line next year Durham and Hull are the only ones returning with experience. Mixon will be returning with 170 snaps, he and Hull are the only two with snaps at all. Dall and Durham played a combined total of 1327 snaps, the twins played combined 292... Cj Murphy is gone, Kam Cheatom is gone, Brown played 14 snaps and Duncan played 8 that is our returning defensive line. Hopefully the freshmen get the chance in spring to show what they can do. There is a lot of size and potential there. Demery-Brown is bigger than any interior lineman on the team last year or this year and Kavals is the same size as Dall. They have some big shoes to fill but hopefully they can do it and Watkins is the same size as Cheatom. Linebackers, James, Boswell, and Reeves might be ready to go... I hope Tibs stays and works with them.. -
Back to Iowa.

2nd highest APR score in program history. Not officially out of APR bullshit, but Dr. Goodrich feels confident he can get it waived for next season due to significant progress.
-
Single-Year APR Scores for Football: 2024-25: 962 (pending an upward adjustment; 2nd highest in program history) 2023-24: 920 2022-23: 908 2021-22: 885 2020-21: 943 2019-20: 953 We would've been bowling this year had we won 6+ games. Guarantee it.
