Someone once told me that a manager must be able to manage two things: safety and turnover. If this all goes down, we'll find out how good the ad really is. - Yesterday

This is 100% true, but don't underestimate the subsection of that base that also engages in bigotry and will sit the election out before voting for Vivek. -
I saw a lovely photo on the Zips Soccer IG story of Ger post match with all of the Zips on both teams of this match. Great showing by the boys!

Which best describes your feelings on the MAC scheduling model?

If "MACtion" were tied to things like the standing-room-only crowd in Bowling Green for the Battle of I-75...yeah, "MACtion" would be a great branding. But, like you noted, it's tied to the usually tiny crowds (again, Akron's biggest butts-in-seats was that Tuesday Kent game, so good on them) on freezing weeknights. -

With the way bowls are crumbling, perhaps with a 6-6 record Akron can find a neutral site game in Florida this year. -
I mentioned before I'm not in NEO anymore. I once had an acquaintance pronounce it Ack-RON, which sounds like the name of a robot. I didn't think when I hit "play" on this video this newscaster would butcher it WORSE than that. I am impressed. P.S. This acquaintance was from Elkton, Maryland, so *all she had to do* was follow the same pronunciation style of her own city, but nope. LOL

It's partly about attendance. It's mostly about other things. Some say MACtion is a great brand. It's a catch phrase. The MAC is a conference and a brand. A brand is how others see you and you have to do things to make yourself more attractive. Playing on weeknights in empty stadiums is horrible for the MAC; therefore, it is horrible for the brand. I'm sorry if there are some athletic directors out there who may shy away from MAC schools because they gave up weeknight games. Maybe they can find other universities to run into the ground. Either way, they need to go away.
