Struggling to stay in front of their guards early. Both made threes were because somebody had to help and left them open.

Also found at the Whitney plantation in New Orleans. Sojourner Truth spoke in Akron in 1851. Akron is everywhere.

Zips alum Darlington Nagbe retires after this season

Great news for both sides! -
-
They'll have to reintroduce football, unfortunately.
-
Here is their current schedule. It will be interesting to see if they try to get out of some of these games and fill them with MAC teams.
-
It's gonna be awesome to see him pitch here throughout the season!
-
That's got to be about a 4 hour flight from Sac to Ohio/Mich. It will be kinda nuts for them if they have consecutive-week games out here. I wonder if they would stay for the week and find a practice facility or make 4 long flights out and back within the space of a week. Then again it may not be much different than some of the long bus trips in the MAC. They will also have a couple of payday games on the schedule at who knows where. I'm sure they will try to keep those closer to home. As I understand it, they will be incorporated into the MAC schedule already this fall.
-
Exactly, I don't understand the hate. If we were sending men's/women's basketball, baseball, volleyball, etc. I would understand it more, but we're not. They're paying us a ton of money and are covering the travel costs for each MAC school to fly out there once every 3 years. What's the downside?

If the Pioneer League in the FCS, can make it work with SDSU, Dayton, Davidson, etc, it seems to me that the MAC should be able to make it work. Pioneer Football League Members Butler Davidson Drake Dayton Marist Morehead State Presbyterian San Diego Stetson St. Thomas Valparaiso

We all know California is far, but just seeing it on the map showing all the school locations visually makes it seem even worse.

https://www.sacbee.com/sports/article314720844.html โThis announcement represents a transformational moment for Sacramento State Athletics and positions our university for unprecedented growth and visibility while strengthening our ties to the Sacramento region and beyond,โ Wood said in the email. โOur Hornets will compete on the national stage, bringing enhanced exposure to our university, our students, and our community.โ Adding U. Nebraska-Omaha would go a long way toward bridging the gap ๐ https://www.csus.edu/ - I guess they go by CSUS : Cal State Univ. Sacramento

I think this Miami team can beat a mediocre P4 school if they get a chance in Dayton. Would be an extremely fun watch
-
Quite frankly, for all the SOS talk with them, this is the best case scenario in terms of at-large and exactly what the "Last 4" games should be. Give teams a chance to prove themselves vs throwing in $$$ P4s.
-
If Miami makes the tournament as last 4 in that would be a heck of a consolation prize for them. Getting to play a winnable tournament game just ~1 hour away from campus in what would have a home game atmosphere.
-
For those that might trouble seeing it, Akron is listed as a 11 seed in the lower right quadrant. Miami is also an 11 seed but listed as an at-large. I am good with this scenario. ๐
